June Update and up coming changes to Freight

Welcome to our latest shipment update, where we bring you the latest news on our incoming goods. Despite some delays and challenges, we are excited to share the progress and upcoming changes in our freight operations.

Delayed Glass Shipment: We regret to inform you that a significant quantity of glass sheets, and Kilns have been delayed initially from industrial action and now from the US customs requiring all outgoing containers being inspected before leaving. Originally scheduled for departure 7th June, the shipment is now pending a date it will leave. Unfortunately, this delay is also affecting the estimated delivery date, which is now slipping to August. We apologize for any inconvenience caused and assure you that we are closely monitoring the situation to minimize further delays.

Lampwork Brass Masher Tools: In more positive news, we are thrilled to announce that a new order of lampwork brass masher tools has been placed. We anticipate their arrival within the next three weeks. These tools will replenish our depleted product range and allow us to continue to provide creative options for our valued customers.

Other Incoming Shipments: This week, we have several exciting products making their way to us. The shipment includes Papyros paper, High Temp wire, running pliers, and Zyp Spray, among others. We anticipate having these items in our inventory by the first week of July. Our team is working diligently to ensure a smooth and timely delivery, so you can expect to enjoy these new supplies soon.

Upcoming Effetre Order: Our next focus is on Effetre, and we are preparing to send out the order by the end of this month. We are restocking sheet glass, rods, and Millefiori to meet your creative needs. This order will help us ensure that we have a wide variety of options available for you to choose from.

Freight changes coming: Australia Post have announced another increase in their shipping charges with 8-15% increases across domestic and international parcels. As such we have reviewed the impact and will need to make adjustments to our shipping rates. 

Firstly, we intend to offer free Australia-wide shipping for orders over $250 from the 3rd July.

Secondly, for orders under $250, the flat rate will be $10.99. This ensures that no matter the size of your order, you can still enjoy affordable and reliable shipping. For those who regularly order kiln paper, we will continue to handle these as separate parcels. This way, you can receive your kiln paper promptly and efficiently, ensuring you receive your purchase undamaged.
