Effetre was previously called Moretti and these names are still used interchangeable in the lampworking community.

Ink blue was the first of the strong purples with a blue hue. Originally produced as a handpull colour its now available in the premium colour ranges. Great over white for creating Iris flowers. While neither boil or spit in the flame the old batch may be considered a little stiffer. For a strong purple for use on petals or in twistees the old batch is a much stronger colour.
