ZYP Boron Nitride Brushable Glass Release

I have used this product on my Creative Paradise Frit-Casting moulds and had no difficulty in removing my cast dragonflies. The photo shows the smooth, white appearance of the casting moulds with the dragonflies wing veins filled in with Bullseye Cobalt Blue fine powdered frit.

I really like Boron Nitride for it's ease of use and reliability for mould release. This variant is OK but I really preferred the very smooth/even results achieved from the aerosol application. It's still ridiculously expensive even though this brush able goes considerably further. It is difficult to get a nice smooth finish as the mould quickly wicks away the solvent so you end up with a lot of brush marks, streaks and over painted areas. I recommend using a goats hair brush (Haik/Hake brush) and working very quickly.

I am delighted to be using this product the ensure my glass does not stick to moulds/shapes that I am fusing. Makes my fusing more fun.
