This frit is a transparent colour and is available in Fine Grades.
Frits are versatile and can be used in:
· Pate de verre and kilncasting
· Kilnforming, including glass sketching and painting with light techniques
· Torchworking and blowing, to create colours and patterns on surfaces

Testing this colour has found that to maintain the Amber Transparent colour you will need to cover the frit in clear powder or cap with sheet. If the frit is not covered it will change to a metallic rough surface.
See examples: The test is clear on the Oceanside Icicle. The first cab shown is with the frit sandwiched between 2 layers of clear. The second Cab on the right is with the frit on top.
Hence, to maintain the amber colouring you will need to cover it in clear power to keep the frit on top look or put a clear sheet over the design.
