Vetrofond was a manufacturer in Italy that matched Effetre's colour number and compatibility. The company is no longer manufacturing lampworking glass so all Vetrofond is now limited edition.

This Vetrofond soft pink, opaque glass should be a staple in your basic foundation colour palette.
It is soft and easy to melt in the flame making it perfect for making creating hand sculpted pieces. With careful heat control, you can easily sculpt floral or shaped beads in the flame without compromising the colour.
Once melted, the glass returns to its basic original colour leaving a soft, pink shiny surface.
When pressed, it creates a translucent shade of deeper pink which can be interesting when using pressing tools to create shapes.
