Triton Frit

Triton is an extra-strength super lustre on a cobalt blue base.  The result of test batches K-65, K-102, and K-108   It can produce a satin iridescence, swirls of multi-coloured silver and retain its lustre under clear. 

Work in a neutral flame, allow to cool for a few seconds and reheat far out in a large reducing flame.  For the multi-coloured satin effect work in the tip of a larger reduction flame, let it cool and then briefly reduce again.

Double Helix frit is run through a magnet trap to remove any metal particles from the crushing equipment and is then washed to remove the glass powder from the fine, medium and coarse.
